Prostate Screening
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, but when detected early, survival rates are excellent. Join Baptist and physicians from Mississippi Urology Clinic for FREE prostate screenings, including a PSA test and a digital rectal exam. Screenings are available for men:
:: Ages 50 to 75
:: Ages 40 to 75 whose father or brother had prostate cancer
:: Ages 45 to 75 who are African-American
Men older than age 75 and those currently under the care of an urologist are excluded.

Art Therapy For Cancer Patients Free Classes
Baptist Cancer Services off ers a free series of art workshops designed to help cancer patients and provide an outlet to express feelings, reduce stress, assist in pain management, help build positive coping skills and increase self-discovery and self-awareness. The program includes art supplies. Classes are led by Susan Anand in the Activities Room of the Hederman Cancer Center on Wednesdays at Noon. Baptist Offers Free Cancer Rehab Classes
Baptist's Cancer Rehab Program is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. every week at no cost in the Activity Room of the Hederman Cancer Center, 1227 North State Street, Jackson, Miss. To register, call the Baptist Health Line at 1-800-948-6262 or 601-948-6262. The class helps cancer patients enhance cardiovascular strength and endurance and immune system and bone density. It helps to increase overall strength and stamina, decrease fatigue, weight loss and improve digestion.

The Birthplace at Baptist provides the comfort and convenience of private Labor-Delivery-Recovery Rooms along with up-to-date technology and experienced nurses with training in fetal heart monitoring. Take advantage of some of the classes such as Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Natal
