Irish food will be offered to sample and enjoy in one of Greater Belhaven's newly renovated bungalows. Music by Tim Avalon will set the mood for a festive and tasty evening. Diggin' and Donuts The Belhaven Garden Club and The Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation are planning a fun event, 'Diggin' and Donuts,' Saturday, March 6th, at Belhaven Park on Poplar Boulevard. The diggin' will start at 9 am so bring your shovel, your gloves and your enthusiasm to help landscape this green space for our neighborhood to enjoy! GBNF will provide plants and the Belhaven Garden Club will have coffee, juice, donuts, live music and a bounce house for kids. The Market is open for business! The Mississippi Farmers Market and The Greater Belhaven Market have come together to combine the dynamics of Jackson’s two largest inner city Farmers Markets at one location where they offer customers a one stop shop for the freshest, high quality Mississippi produced products. The MS Farmers Market is located at 929 High Street, adjacent to the Fairgrounds. Market hours are Thursday’s and Saturday’s from 8am to 2pm.

The Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation's annual street festival, Bright Lights, Belhaven Nights was a tremendous success. Planning already is underway for the 2010 festival on August 14th.
