Dog Days of Summer, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday September 13, 2008, at Laurel Street Park on Laurel Street in Belhaven benefiting Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (CARA).  The event will feature barbecue by Tom Kepner’s Cane Creek Cooker and Bumpers Drive-In's hot dogs. Live music, kids’ activities and prizes. Tickets  are $10 per person, including food and are available in advance at at 601-201-0568 or at the event. Pets on leashes are welcome.
