LOCATION: The Mississippi Farmers Market and The Greater Belhaven Market are located in one location at 929 High Street, adjacent to the Fairgrounds. Market hours are Saturday’s from 8am to 2pm. (See Market Notes below for more information.) MARKET GRILL – The Market Grill is open this and every Saturday (weekdays, too!) serving breakfast beginning at 7am. Also hot plate lunches, best hamburger in town, po-boys, assorted other sandwiches and all the trimmings.

DELTA PECAN ORCHARD will be bringing pecans grown in the MS Delta along with gourmet pecans and candies cooked in their facility. Great for Valentines!

LIVINGSTON SPRINGS FARM will be on hand to share how to place orders for shares of free range and grass fed beef and lamb. Coming soon will be fresh eggs from free range, pasture fedchickens. Their Belted Galloway Cattle and Katahdin Sheep are rotationally grazed on pastures throughout the year to ensure fresh nutritional grasses, which are free from herbicides and pesticides. SWEET MAGNOLIA FARM - A small family farm located in Byram, Mississippi. They produce a diverse range of gourmet vegetables. This week they will have lettuce, kale, green onions, cilantro, carrots and sprouts. Coming later in the season will be heirloom tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers, cucumbers, squash, multi-colored carrots, radishes, lettuce, arugula and sprouts, all without chemical pesticides or fertilizers.

RIC SHAFFER OF DOLLY FARMS will be back at the Market this week with an assortment of cool season vegetables. He is preparing for his spring crops to arrive.

FLOURS BY CHRIS will be at the Market this week with her delicious fresh baked specialties – a variety of breads, rolls and cakes. Christine is happy to take custom orders!

HIDDEN ARROWS FARMwill have their handmade, all-natural goats' milk soap, lotion and all natural beeswax lip-balm. HAF raises dairy goats for the milk in all their soap and lotion products. They have a variety of fragrances with essential oils. If you have a favorite fragrance, just let them know.

NO TIME 2 COOK is at the Market EVERY SATURDAY bringing their “deliciously convenient" frozen casseroles, soups, and desserts. New items this season include Red Velvet Cake (a February favorite), Chicken, Asparagus, & Orzo, and Mexican Rice Casserole full of corn, black beans, and tomatoes. DELTA GRIND will be at the Market this weekend. Becky will be offering her fabulous Mississippi Stone Ground Yellow Grits, Corn Meal and Polenta.

CLAUDE JONES - Known for his pickled squash, Claude and family work tirelessly to provide an assortment of jams, jellies, cakes, pies, cookies, breads, pickles and more. He takes special orders too!

GIFTS FROM THE HIVE will be at the Market this week bringing local honey from their hives and an assortment of beeswax products. Stop by to see their beeswax candles, lotion bars, body cream and lip balm. Gift sets available, too.

BOBKAT FARM - Bob and Kathy specialize in mixed veggies and herbs straight from the garden. Don’t forget to try their pickled veggies as well.

HUMMUS QUEEN - Ms. Pattie is known for her hummus varieties. She will bring a smile to your face and hug around your neck. Her hummus is quite the treat but don’t forget about her other goodies, including the best pimento cheese!

MS BEES will be at the Market this week with their local honey and a wonderful selection of products using this sweet local delicacy.

COOK’S BASKETS - Mr. and Mrs. Cook have recently won two blue ribbons for their Pine Needle Baskets. Watch as Mr. Cook weaves the foliage of our states most recognizable tree into beautiful pieces of art.

SUZANNA MCMAHAN makes jewelry from many materials, specializing in wire and vintage objects. She is also well known for taking costume jewelry from an older generation and making it into contemporary jewelry for the current generation. COVERINGS FOR BABY will be at the Market this week with unique and adorable bibs, burps, taggie blankets, pacie holders, “taggie pillows” and baby pillows. Come join us!

PEARSON CERAMICS returns this week and Ineke will be offering silk pillows made from vintage Japanese obis. Ineke will also have other handcrafted items, including her ceramic creations. Roger, a member of The Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi, will have a large assortment hand tied fishing flies. Check out the ones he has arranged in shadow box frames.

MARY ANNE GALLE will be bringing pottery, plants, paintings, cards, bookmarks and assorted crafts that vary with the seasons. Each week Mary Anne designates an area in her space for art demos and hands-on participation for children and adults too. She enjoys promoting local farmers, artists and crafts people by encouraging the young folk to explore the items for sale at our Market.

WINDHAM’S WOODWORKS will have items handcrafted from a variety of wood species. Incredible large salad bowls, huge new selection of peppermills, sets for grinding salt and pepper, salad servers along with wooden cooking spoons, cutting boards (small and large), bread knives and other woodturnings. GRAMMEE’S ANGEL THREADS - FRIEDA WILLIAMS will be back this week with new clothing items and miscellaneous textiles for ladies and children. Kaftans will be available also!

PHYLLIS HURLEY will be at the Market this Saturday and offering beautiful artwork and shea butter along with their other crafts to help Ugandan women. This week she will be featuring Kikuyu bags, the ultimate pickpocket-proof bag. She also sells jewelry made from magazine pages, baskets, caftans, cloth dolls, Noah's arks and animals, and bongo drums.

ABBOTT JEWELRY - The Abbott family offers handmade earrings including Fleur-de-Lis, necklaces, cell phone charms, Nintendo DS charms, wine glass charms and the ever popular bottle cap chokers for girls. This week, he will be bringing his white oak baskets and bringing back his corn shuck paintings along with his famous dancing rabbits, crabs and turtles.

CATHY PARISI will be back this week with a fun selection her artwork. This talented artist produces a wide variety of pieces, including chair art, custom frames and metal work. Mediums include acrylic and watercolor.

BROOKS EVANS is new to our Market this year. This Saturday, she will be bringing her colorful acrylic and oil paintings.

DIANE SANDERS – A New VendorDiane will be at the Market this Saturday with handcrafted candles and other custom scented offerings.

MAGGIE’S NEIGHBORHOOD – A New Vendor – Carolyn will be offering her published books, two are children's books – ‘Maggie's Neighborhood’ and ‘Christmas in Maggie's Neighborhood’. Her third publication is a cook book for adults and children to encourage healthy, economical, simple recipes titled ‘Cooking With Maggie’. Maggie is a little tan Cocker Spaniel puppy and the books are written with interactive dialogue between Maggie and the reader. Beautifully illustrated for small children. Carolyn will all have illustrated bible verses, hand smocked Easter eggs, and photography of Belhaven Cottages. Coming soon will be specialty cupcakes, all YUMMY, from 'scratch', for any occasion or season. Orders may be placed at the market for large quantities or special orders.

CAROL THRASHER will be on hand this week with her handcrafted quilts in various themes, sizes and colors.

SUZANNE MCCOY will be back at the Market this week. Suzanne will be offering her beautiful handcrafted jewelry in various styles, colors and mediums.
